Engine Room PPM Panel

ICS Recommends the installation of the Engine Room PPM panel located at the main entry to the engine room. This panel, built by ICS, may have a display for the ammonia concentration level in parts-per-million (PPM), an alarm light, a ventilation control switch and an emergency stop break glass switch. The ventilation control switch allows the system to operate in auto or manual ventilation mode. The pilot light light indicates occupied ventilation running. The emergency stop break glass switch enables the stopping of equipment in the engine room, while requiring a delibrate action.
The PPM panels installed in the correct location can inform person entering the engine room of the current conditions. The panel also makes the ventilation and emergency stop readily accessible.
